Edugain eduGAIN is a service developed within the GÉANT project , to allow the exchange of information in a reliable way concerning authentication, authorization and identity between Federations participants of the GÉANT project http://www.edugain.org .

GARR: Prizes for young researchers

Prizes Consortium GARR, promotes knowledge, by setting up two prizes to the original proposals or works made by young researchers (born on or after January 1, 1981). The awards are dedicated to the memory of two outstanding personalities who have been devoted in building the Italian research network: prof. Orio Carlini, who was one of the father founders of GARR network and prof. Antonio Ruberti, has been Rector and Minister of the University and of the Scientific and Technological Research.

The Swiss National Science Foundation financed Sinergia project “Towards an alliance of the Performing Arts and Sciences”, a cooperation between the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and La Manufacture – Haute École de Théâtre de Suisse romande (HETSR) together with the partners Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and Munich University (LMU), funds from October 2011 on 3-4 PhD-positions (for 3 years at the basis of annual contracts and evaluation).

GARR Conference 2011 and International meetings

"Into the Future For 20 years" is the title of the GARR Conference 2011 to be held in Bologna in the conference room of the Research Area of CNR 8 to 10 November 2011. In the same context GARR will host some Terena Task force meetings.
