To get to GARR from Fiumicino Airport you
can take the "Leonardo Express" non-stop train to Termini
Rome central station. (departures every 30 min, ticket price €
11,00). This is the fastest and simplest way to get to Termini
Station.
If you wish, you can choose instead the FM1
train (departures every 15 min, ticket price € 5,00) to Ostiense
station and there take "B" line tube ("Metro linea B") to Termini
station - way Termini-Rebibbia).
To get to GARR from Ciampino Airport you
can take the bus CO.TRA.L. from the "Arrivi" (arrivals) terminal to the
underground station "Anagnina"; here take the"A" line tube ("Metro
linea A") to Termini central station.
From Termini station you can reach GARR
by bus or by feet.
By bus 492: reach the nearest bus stop, in via Volturno (about 300
metres walking) and take the bus until RAMNI/PORTA TIBURTINA. Note that
your Underground ticket is also valid to ride the bus.
By feet (about 950 metres walking): from Termini
Station, exit to via Marsala, turn right and walk aside the station
down to Piazzale Sisto V; then make a left turn to via dei Ramni until
Piazza dei Siculi. Turn right crossing the square and, at the end, on the left, take via dei Tizii. GARR is at number 6 on your right hand side.
