A new multimedia gallery on the 2023 GARR conference is now available online. It contains photos, interviews and complete videos of the presentations held at the event that took place from 14 to 16 June at the Novoli campus of the University of Florence.
The annual GARR Conference is the event dedicated to networking professionals and researchers who use the network and services on a daily basis.
The new statute of the GARR Consortium was signed during an extraordinary General Assembly. The document was signed by GARR president Maurizio Tira and the representatives of the member institutions: Sarah Chen (CNR), Roberto Iaschi (ENEA), Giorgio Mosconi (CRUI), Antonio Zoccoli (INFN), Giovanni Scarpato (INGV).
Save the date for the new edition of the GARR Workshop. The annual meeting organised by the Italian research and education network will be held from 7 to 10 November in Rome.

The European project Skills4EOSC (Skills for the European Open Science commons: creating a training ecosystem for Open and FAIR science), for the creation of a pan-European network of competence centres to disseminate a real culture of open science, through the development of methodologies, activities and training resources to accelerate the updating of European researchers and professionals in the management of scientific data, has started.
From 3 April 2023, the old Webmeetings service will be discontinued in favour of video communication services based on open solutions.
The University of Florence will host the new GARR conference from June 14–16.
TNC22, the European networking conference co-organized by GARR and the GÉANT research network is just around the corner. This year it will be held in Trieste from 13 to 17 June.
