GARR, in risposta alla crescente richiesta di formazione teorico-pratica da parte della comunità dei suoi utenti, ha progettato e programmato un ricco calendario di corsi di formazione in presenza e ha ideato una campagna di alfabetizzazione digitale Conoscere Internet attraverso la divulgazione di un percorso in autoapprendimento.
Sono aperte le iscrizioni alla nuova edizione del corso GARR “IPv6: Configurazione di rete e servizi”, che si terrà il 22 giugno 2017 dalle 10.00 alle 17.00 a Roma, presso la sede del CNR di via dei Taurini 19.

The last OpenStack Summit 2017 in Boston was the occasion to announce the first result of the collaboration between GARR and Canonical, known for the Ubuntu Linux distribution. This collaboration led to the implementation of the new Federated Cloud platform launched in November which has been designed by GARR and dedicated to the Research and Education community in Italy.
It will be the current president of the European Council, Malta, the host of the next e-IRG open workshop, an event dedicated to the key theme of long-term sustainability of e-Infrastructures.
