Cybersecurity Month 2025: Digital Awareness in the Age of AI
Once again this year, GARR is joining the campaign organised by the European research network GÉANT for the European Cybersecurity Month (CSM). The 2025 edition focuses on a highly topical issue: cyber mindfulness as a tool to defend against threats generated by artificial intelligence.
Cyber mindfulness: difendersi dalle manipolazioni dell’AI
Be mindful. Stay safe.

Cyber Mindfulness: Defending Against AI Manipulation
With the rise of generative artificial intelligence, cybercriminals now have new tools to deceive users: deepfakes, voice cloning, AI-generated phishing texts, and identity theft.
These attacks exploit human emotions — such as urgency, shame or authority — to bypass rational thinking. To counter them, the CSM25 campaign invites everyone to slow down, pay attention, and make mindful choices online.
Be mindful. Stay safe. In other words, taking a moment to pause consciously can make all the difference.
