From fostering digital literacy to advanced technical training to scholarships for young innovators: GARR in-class and distant learning activities are dedicated to the research and education community.

GARR offers courses on topics linked to the management and use of the network, as well as of advanced services and applications delivered on top of it: from network management to cybersecurity, from monitoring to digital identity, from Open Educational Resources (OER) to advanced services. Training activities are designed to support the dissemination of technical knowledge and to exchange information and best practices on research and development of new technologies and services.

In addition, GARR promotes initiatives to disseminate and enhance digital skills and digital literacy, to pave the way towards a conscious use of the Internet and the e-Infrastructures.

GARR training offer is open to all users in the Research and Education community and includes:

  • Seminars and in-class courses;
  • Webinars and self-paced e-learning courses.

GARR annually awards Scholarships to young graduates that are specialising on themes related to e-Infrastructures.

La prestigiosa conferenza europea TNC22 torna in presenza!

Organizzata da GÉANT e ospitata da GARR, TNC22 si terrà tra l'13 e il 17 giugno 2022 a Trieste, per la prima volta in Italia da oltre un decennio.

“Navigating the Unexplored”, navigare l’ignoto è il tema centrale della conferenza e si ispira a questi due ultimi anni in cui tutti, in ogni settore, abbiamo imparato ad affrontare una situazione sconosciuta creando nuovi modi nuovi di lavorare, di vivere e di relazionarci.

Guardando al futuro, oltre la pandemia, i modi in cui interagiamo sono cambiati per sempre. TNC22 sarà un’opportunità per riflettere su come esplorare e gestire al meglio un ambiente ormai cambiato. Attraverso gli interventi di rinomati esperti, sessioni parallele, dimostrazioni, talk e poster, TNC presenta ai partecipanti una panoramica unica sugli ultimi sviluppi del networking della ricerca, sia nel campo più puramente tecnico che nel campo delle applicazioni e della gestione e diventa il luogo in cui tutta la comunità, guidata dalla passione per l’innovazione e il progresso, si riunisce per creare il futuro della ricerca e dell'istruzione e per dare forma a quella che sarà la società di domani.
