Pursuant to Article 79 of the GDPR, data subjects who consider that their rights have been infringed as a result of this processing have the right to apply to the competent data protection authority. Competent authority: the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

Purposes of processing

The personal data covered by this notice will be published or disseminated for educational, informational, research or scientific purposes, including after editing into clips or individual frames, for the institutional purposes of Consortium GARR and in particular for publication on the websites of GARR and its members, as well as for publication, without commercial purposes, on Consortium GARR's social media channels, in print and/or through any other means of dissemination.

Methods of processing

The personal data you provide, including your likeness contained in the photographs/videos, will be processed in compliance with the applicable legislation and with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and confidentiality that inspire the activities of Consortium GARR. These data will be processed by electronic means, on paper and on any other suitable medium, in compliance with the security measures provided for by the GDPR.

Whether consent is mandatory

The provision of your data is optional unless strictly related to the operation of the activity or the service offered. Failure to give consent will mean that the images and/or audiovisual recordings of the data subject cannot be used for the purposes indicated above.

Disclosure to third parties and publication/dissemination of data

Within the limits relevant to the stated purposes of processing, personal data (images and audiovisual recordings) may be disclosed, published and/or disseminated in any form on Consortium GARR's websites, on Consortium GARR's social media channels, in print and/or through any other means of dissemination.

Declaration of consent

I, the undersigned, declare that I have read the privacy notice set out above and consent to the processing of my personal data, the dissemination and publication of which I authorise within the limits described above, in accordance with the GDPR. I consent to the retention of the above data for the duration provided for in the statutes of the Consortium GARR Association.

Rights of data subjects

In relation to the above processing, you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including the right to:

• obtain confirmation of whether or not data concerning you exist;
• know the origin of the data, and the logic and purposes of the processing;
• obtain the erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as the updating, rectification or completion of the data;
• object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of the data, within the limits and under the conditions provided for.
