GARR offers training opportunities online
The COVID-19 emergency measures did not stop GARR training activities, which presents a series of online initiatives for the coming months.
For the school community, on April 23 there will be a webinar on open educational resources (OER), that is, the resources made available by universities, research and cultural centres that can represent a real support for teaching activities. The course will be held by Gabriella Paolini, head of the GARR e-learning and training group.
In addition, there will be the course "Effective online communication", held by Eleonora Napolitano (GARR), that will focus on communication techniques to better manage online presentations. The course, divided into three parts, will take place on the following dates: April 29, May 6 and 13.
The course on Python (basic), held last April, is now available in self-learning together with live Q&A sessions with the teacher Luca Coviello (FBK) (21 and 24 April). On the wave of the success of the first edition there will be the course on Python data science course (advanced level), held by the same teacher, on May 5, 8, 12 and 19. At the end of the course, and after an assessment test, participants will receive a digital badge with the competencies acquired. Finally, two webinars are scheduled on GARR Cloud. The courses will include practical exercises on the use of the platform and its applications, held by the CSD group in the first half of May (the final dates will be published on Learning GARR).
Online booking is required for participation in the courses, for information and registration visit Learning GARR
