GARR is looking for 8 professionals in Software Development and Network Operations

GARR is recruiting 4 DevOps & Technical Support Engineer, 1 Junior Network Engineer and 3 Network Operator.

To participate in the personnel selection, candidates must submit the online form within 12.00 CET of 11 Decembre 2020.

Mandatory requirements for all the personnel selections are fluence in written and spoken Italian and a good knowledge of English.

DevOps & Technical Support Engineer

The new 4 DevOps & Technical Support Engineers will become part of the Infrastructure Department, which is responsible for the systems support and for the development, implementation and management of GARR infrastructures and services or the IDEM GARR AAI digital identity service. Mandatory requirement for this profile is a tri-annual degree in technical or scientific disciplines. Possible working places will be Rome, Milan, Bari or Pisa.

Junior Network Engineer

The person selected as Junior Network Engineer will be included in the Planning Team of the GARR Network Department, which is responsible for the collection of user requirements and technical design of access infrastructures to the GARR network. Mandatory requirement for this profile is a tri-annual degree in technical or scientific disciplines. This profile will be based in Rome.

Network Operators

The three new Network Operators will become part of the Network Operation Center (NOC), which is responsible of the daily operations of the GARR network infrastructure, of managing network malfunctioning and new link activations, as well as of the collection and publication of network traffic data and statistics. Mandatory requirement to apply for this profile is a 5-years Secondary School degree.
