GARR is seeking two recent graduates with a passion for emerging technologies in the areas of DevOps and cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity to join the team as DevOps Engineers.

The positions are offered on an initial 18-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent role afterwards.
 Applications are open for our offices in Milan and Rome. Hybrid work arrangements will be available after the first 6 months.

Teams and Locations

• DevOps Group – focuses on the development of cloud applications. Available location: Rome or Milan
• IT Group – responsible for infrastructure management and cloud application development. Available location: Rome

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information engineering, computer science, or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Italian (C1 level) and English (B1 level)
• Strong motivation and interest in technological innovation

Role and Responsibilities
  The selected candidates will work alongside industry experts to design and develop new services following DevOps paradigms on platforms such as microservices, containers, and virtual machines.
  After an initial period of on-the-job training, they will progressively contribute with increasing autonomy to the team’s daily activities and to key projects.
