Call for Papers for the GARR Conference 2017 - The data way to Science
Call for Papers is open for GARR conference 2017, which will take place in Venice from next 15 to 17 November.
The GARR Conference brings together users, technical operators and managers of the Italian Research and Education Network, with the aim to share experiences and ideas about the use of the network as a cross-disciplinary and cross-context tool for research, education and culture.
This years’ conference theme is the role of data in research. Data are a valuable asset that constitutes more and more the real basis of scientific work. They are in all disciplines, with common requirements, peculiarities and emerging needs.
From Big Data to open data, from data sharing to data storage, from processing of huge amounts of data to the Internet of Things: these are just a few of the many topics covered over the three days on innovation and collaboration for research.
Submissions are invited with reference to the following themes:
- Use of network infrastructures and services for the management, sharing and storage of data;
- Methods and management policies for replicable data in a multidisciplinary environment;
