Launched in July 2015, the Eastern Partnership Connect (EaPConnect) project aims to establish and manage a high-speed broadband internet network for research and education in the six partner countries of the Eastern Partnership in Eastern Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The project seeks to integrate the national research and education networks (NRENs) into the pan-European GÉANT network, reduce the digital divide, facilitate the participation of scientists, students, and academics in international collaborations, implement eduroam, and promote integration with GÉANT services.
