This edition of GARR NEWS is dedicated to the theme of sustainability, understood in its broadest sense: technological, environmental, economic and social. Not as an abstract goal, but as a guiding principle for designing digital infrastructures that can stand the test of time, adapt to change and continue to generate value for the research and education community.

GARR is looking for four graduates (Bachelor’s degree) with a passion for networking and communication technologies to join the team as NOC Specialists at our Rome office.

Internet Society Italia, the italian national chapter of the Internet Society  celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and is marking the occasion with a special event. The Internet Society, or ISOC, is the international organisation that promotes the Internet as an open, secure and accessible resource for all.

On 2 December, the Final event of the TeRABIT project will take place at the Conference Centre of the CNR Research Area in Bologna, entitled “TeRABIT: the evolution of infrastructures for cutting-edge research.”
