The annual GARR Conference is the event dedicated to networking professionals and researchers who use the network and services on a daily basis.

GARR is recruiting 3 DevOps & Technical Support Engineers, and 1 Junior Network Engineer in Rome, Bari and Milan. To participate in the personnel selection, candidates must submit the online form within 12.00 CET of 7 March 2022.

The TV channels of the Sicilian volcanoes, developed by the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), transmit video images from the surveillance cameras installed on Etna and the Aeolian Islands with the aim of offering the “vision” of Sicilian volcanoes constantly monitored by the Etneo Observatory (INGV-OE).

TNC22, the European networking conference, is fast approaching and it will be back in Italy in June after more than 15 years. Registrations for the event are open and, in particular, a special fee (early bird) is available for those who register by 8 March 2022.

GARR was awarded in the Security Excellence category of the Juniper Elevate Awards, now in their fourth edition. Tomorrow the ceremony during which Juniper Networks, leader in the networking sector, will present the award to the 8 winning organisations.

The Call for Proposals for the prestigious TNC22 European conference is open. Organised by GÉANT and hosted by GARR, TNC22 will be held between 13 and 17 June 2022 in Trieste.

From 25 to 29 October, a week dedicated to Open Science, organised by University of Genoa in collaboration with IIT, INFN, CNR and GARR.
